President's Welcome

Greetings Visitors!

To all interested in relocating, or just surfing the web, welcome to Harrah!

It’s an exciting time for the growth and prosperity of our great city. Homebuilding is at an all time high for our suburbanites, the Harrah school system is continually growing currently supporting five different sites, and with our great states centennial having just passed, our city leaders and the Parks and Recreation department are in the process of completing some outstanding improvements to our great city and the Harrah Heritage Park.

The Harrah Chamber of Commerce is excited about all the recent population growth. On average, we have two ribbon cuttings per month welcoming a new or relocated business to the community. Our support lies deep within supporting these new enterprises in opening their doors, often times for the first time. What an exciting time for them and us! New growth; new beginnings.

We have an exciting year planned for all our current and prospective members, as well as for our citizens. In March we’ll have our annual banquet in support of our membership drive. This is always an exciting time with our live and silent auctions, and in general social interaction with all members of the community. September rolls in with our annual fall festival “Harrah Daze”. A good time for all complete with parade, arts & crafts, non-profit food vendors, car show, local performing talent, little miss beauty queen contest, street dance, and an awesome fireworks show to top it all off. In November our Future Leaders program is headed up calling on all Harrah High School juniors and seniors to participate in a three day event learning leadership skills by social interaction with the military and business communities.

Overall, the excitement and vitality the Harrah Chamber of Commerce brings to the community is overwhelming. But as with any organization, the burning question always prevails: What does my local Chamber do for me? The prevailing answer is kept in perspective with all aspects of life: You only get out of something what you put into it.

So whatever your interest, be excited and get involved! Come help us celebrate our great city, our community, and our continued growth.

Scott Dull
President, Harrah Chamber of Commerce
